The faculties of various departments are actively pursuing research in their respective technical departments. In the academic year 2016-17 our faculty published more than 180 research papers in various national and international conferences and journals. A few of our senior students also, contributed by publishing research papers in international conferences.

Presently 30faculty are registered with various universities and are pursuing research leading to Ph.D. Faculty and students have jointly developed many products and systems with their in-house research effort.

A few research projects currently in hand are  Automaticstreet light for smart cities using sun tracking solar panels,Design of Trainers Kit for DC laboratory , Design and development of trainer kits using pic 32 bit.3 D Printing, Abrasive Jet Machining, High Temperature formability testing, Cloud computing, web Technologies, Data analysis, Speech recognition, Embedded system , Data mining, Information security, Big Data Digital Image Processing. Our students received several awards and prizes for display of their research products. Typically i) First prize at Osmania University on Structural Model Making ii) Another prize on similar exhibition conducted by A.P State Irrigation Department at their training and Research Centre WALAMTARI.

The college conducted one month programme as Technology Awareness Month (TAM) during 05 January2018 to 02 February 2018. The visiting faculty disseminated various state of art technology through their expert lecture of specialization. Students of respective streams visited National Remote Sensing Centre, High Voltage Electrical Power Substation, A.P. Transco, Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd., etc. Some of the projects completed by our students are:

Li-Fi Technology,  Remote switching of electrical devices through mobile phone,Propeller LED Display, Automation of Dry and wet Dust collection System, Generation of solar power.

The faculty of various departments are actively pursuing research in their respective technical departments. In the academic year 2013-14 our faculty published more than thirty research papers in various national and international conferences and journals. A few of our senior students also contributed by publishing research papers in international conferences.
